What Our Guests Say

  • The room/bathroom are immaculately clean. The location was perfect for my itinerary. I was traveling on my own and stayed there for 2 nights. I felt very safe and welcome. Check in was easy, the heater was already on in my room, which was much appreciated given the temperature that day. I was served a nice dinner even though I got there almost at the end of service. Very accommodating. Breakfast was provided in the room for the next day, because I had to leave the hotel before breakfast buffet service began. Again – very much appreciated. Overall great experience and I would absolutely book here again.

  • The hotel is ideally situated at the edge of town close to the junction of the main road. A very welcoming and helpful host will meet you on arrival. He is a wealth of knowledge about local facilities and things to do and has contacts at all the local tour operators to make sure your trips go smoothly. He doesn’t just tell you who to contact but he does it himself and makes sure your day starts well. A great place to stay and tour the local area.

  • Whilst on a business trip I had available a few extra days of annual leave and chose to visit Tasmania. The Comfort Inn Queenstown was an ideal location due to its proximity to many recreational activities. This proved to be an inspired choice as the hotel was tremendous, the staff all went out of their way to provide every assistance and the facilities were all that one could ask for.

  • The older style units have been refurbished well and the linen was first rate. The manager and staff were very helpful in accommodating our needs. The dinner and breakfast were wholesome country style food and of a high standard. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • Bernie and staff are warm, friendly and thoroughly professional, always providing a positive experience. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the restaurant provides excellent options for meals (Breakfast and Dinner). Highly recommended.

  • This hotel stands below the most imposing mountain edifice in Australia. It is attractive, modern and spotlessly clean. Surrounded by rugged peaks and splendid rain forest, it is like stepping into a scene from The Sound of Music. The owner doesn’t greet you with singing, but she is a cheerful, friendly, warm and inviting lady who establishes an easy and comfortable rapport immediately. A breath of fresh air in today’s world! The hotel building stands its own ground between the mountains. Striking white with brownstone quoins. The rooms are lovely. Modern with a twist of warm timber, befitting the mountain setting. Spacious, attractive and very functional. Beds look fantastic and are a comforting dream. A separate kitchen has every necessity to self cater and the bathroom is perfect. There is nothing I could fault this hotel on. It was simply wonderful.

  • Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and specious for 2 . Very comfortable bed, good heating in the room. The basic kitchen facilities were wonderful, so nice to be able to prepare and eat breakfast, as well as the picnic style dinner we had brought with us.

  • The motel manager is more helpful in booking, adjusting for the booking. He is a kind person who look after the visitors as his own relatives. I was sole traveller and his hospitality in the motel make me bit stronger. I highly recommend this place
